British Columbia wrapped up the first week of the PEI 2023 Canada Winter Games with eight more medals, including a historic first-ever Canada Games gold in wheelchair basketball.

Artistic gymnastics dominated the day with six medals, including four gold, in individual male competition as Team BC added 10 medals at the PEI 2023 Canada Winter Games to remain in second in the overall medal standings.
