Day one of the PEI 2023 Canada Winter Games had Team BC busy with practices, a pep rally, and the Opening Ceremony at the Eastlink Centre.

Meet two of the Team BC Mission Staff members, Marie-Pierre Lavoie and Emily Vickery, responsible for supporting athletes, coaches, managers, and provincial sport organizations.

Fresh from an overnight cross-country charter flight, Team BC athletes are on the ground in PEI and are adjusting to a new province, local weather and life in a multisport Games Village.

A Team BC contingent of 350 athletes, coaches, managers, and Mission Staff is travelling to Prince Edward Island (PEI) this month to take on the nation’s top young athletes at the 2023 Canada Winter Games, taking place from February 18 to March 5.
