Daily Update Title
Table tennis wins more medals 

Team BC table tennis athlete Benita Zhou (Vancouver) had a golden week, winning three gold medals — team event, doubles and singles.

She is the only athelete in Week One to win three gold medals.

 

Also in table tennis, Steve Wang (North Vancouver) finishes the Games with a silver medal. David Lin (Richmond) took the bronze medal.

 

Freestyle skier Skye Clarke (Vancouver) earned her second medal in as many days, taking silver in the big air event. She was joined on the podium by Josephine Howell (Mount Currie), who won the bronze medal.

 

On the final day of gymnastics, Team BC athletes Emilie Hong (Langley) and Ryan Woodhead (Tsawwassen) both won gold.

Text Curfew is strictly enforced tonight. Please adhere to quiet time at 11 p.m. and be in your room by midnight.

Departure day is on Saturday. Charge your phones and plan for it to be a long day of travel. Everyone must be out of their rooms by 9 a.m.

There will be linen/garbage bags/bag for sleeping bags in the rooms. Please use them

Red zone — leave the rooms unlocked whem you leave.

Rooms are epected to be left tidy. If you leave a mess, athletes will be called back to clean up with the Chef de Mission or Assistant Chef watching over you.

Do not wear pins on your accreditation when you go through airport security and make sure you water bottles are empty. This will help speed up your time in airport security.

Team BC coaches meeting takes place on Feb. 24 at 10 a.m.
