In the opening rounds the team saw victories over P.E.I, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Newfoundland and Labrador and Nova Scotia. The team only faced defeats against Manitoba and Ontario in two tight games. Coach Gord Collings, newly appointed UBC Softball Head Coach says of his team "Despite the two close losses to Manitoba and Ontario, the ladies are in great spirits and we are looking forward to our game against Quebec. I am fortunate to be the coach of such a great group of character athletes and know they are going to do their best for Team BC, tonight and in the medal round."
Under Coach Collings leadership, this dynamic and vibrant team is focused on the task at hand and will face the host province Quebec in tonight's match at 8 pm.
