Team BC Celebrates National Coaches Week

Author: Team BC*/Friday, September 15, 2023/Categories: Front Page, 2023 News

Team BC Celebrates National Coaches Week

National Coaches Week celebrates the positive impact coaches have on athletes, participants, and communities across Canada. It is an opportunity to recognize coaches for the integral role they play in the development of athletes at levels of sport participation

Team BC joins the Coaching Association of Canada in recognizing and celebrating Team BC coaches for their work to prepare and lead their athletes into competition at the Canada Games. Take part by participating in free multi-sport NCCP eLearning modules offered each day this week, or follow along on social media as we say #ThanksCoach.

About National Coaches Week:

National Coaches Week is a week-long public awareness campaign that encourages people in Canada to say thanks and to celebrate the tremendous positive impact coaches have on athletes and their communities. This week puts a spotlight on coaches and gives this, largely volunteer, integral part of Canadian sport a thanks. With events held across the province and country to celebrate coaching, National Coaches Week provides coaches with the recognition they deserve for the time they devote to ensuring people in Canada live an active, healthy lifestyle. For more information on events happening in your region, visit www.coach.ca/nationalcoachesweek or contact your Provincial or Territorial Coaching Representative.
