Request for Proposals: Team BC seeking to commission Indigenous artist for Canada Winter Games design

Team BC is seeking to commission an Indigenous artist to create a modern, wearable design that will serve as a primary graphic for the province’s ceremonial apparel and trading pins.
At its core, the artwork is intended to symbolize the athlete’s journey, visually capturing the dedication, resilience, and personal growth of our youth athletes as they prepare for and compete on the national stage. The artwork remains the property of the Artist but may be used by Team BC within its social media as an opportunity to profile Team BC and/or the Artist and/or the partnership. Team BC reserves the right to use the artwork in framed prints as gifts to Team BC partners. The Artist may use the artwork for their own commercial/non-commercial requirements.
Interested artists are invited to submit a comprehensive proposal by September 18, 2026 for consideration by the selection committee.
