Team BC names Mission Staff for Québec 2027 Canada Winter Games
May 14, 2026
VICTORIA – Team BC is proud to announce the Mission Staff who will support British Columbia’s athletes, coaches, and managers at the Québec 2027 Canada Winter Games, which will be held in Québec City from February 27 – March 14.
The Mission Staff team is led by Eron Main and Brianna Davey, who are reprising their roles as Chef and Assistant Chef de Mission, respectively, from the St. John’s 2025 Canada Summer Games.
“I am very excited that we’ve completed the critical step of selecting our 2027 Mission Staff,” said Main. “We’ve put together a very strong team with a wide range of experiences and qualifications, including several Games veterans and some very promising newcomers. I look forward to working with all of them as we prepare for and deliver an excellent 2027 Canada Games experience for all of Team BC.”
Mission Staff are assigned to one of three areas–sport, special events, or communications–and work together to provide administrative, logistical, and performance preparation support. Comprised of volunteer sport administrators, educators, sport performance experts, and communications specialists, Mission Staff provide a wide range of services to Team BC athletes, coaches, and managers leading up to and during the Canada Games.
The Canada Games are held every two years, alternating between winter and summer and are a key step in the development of Canada’s amateur athletes. The last Canada Winter Games were held in Prince Edward Island in 2023.
The Mission Staff team is beginning preparations now and will work together over the next 10 months to ensure Team BC is ready for the 2027 Canada Winter Games.
In the coming months, Team BC will be seeking individuals to fill the roles of Medical Manager and Photographer. If you are interested in applying for either position, please reach out to us at info@teambc.org for more information.
