Team BC curlers steal a win over Team Nova Scotia

By Heather Beatty, Team BC Mission Staff

Team BC took on Team Nova Scotia at the curling club today.  When asked about the game, lead Tim Henderson (Victoria) said, “it was a tough game, well played on both sides and could have gone either way, but we’re happy we came out on top.”

Half way through the game they were tied 3-3.  In the sixth end Team Nova Scotia stole one, followed by Team BC taking a point in the seventh to tie it up again. Team BC fought for the win well into the final ends, finishing the game with a score of 8-4 for Team BC.

The win puts Team BC at 4-0.  Despite having one more game to play in their pool, the win has secured them a spot in the semi-finals Thursday at 7 p.m.
