Ridenour, Milic medal after individual triathlon at Anzac
Conditions were beautiful for the opening day of triathlon competition, Aug. 13, in Anzac, Alta. Triathletes Desirae Ridenour (Cowichan Bay) and Michael Milic (Delta) were the lone BC athletes to step on the podium.

Team BC leads medal count after phase one of Western Canada Summer Games
Team BC came to the 2015 Western Canada Summer Games as the province to beat and the phase one athletes did not disappoint. Team BC leads the medal count with 169 including 77 gold, 51 silver, and 41 bronze.

McIntyre tumbles to gold
It was a golden day for Salt Spring Island gymnast Darby McIntyre as she tumbled her way to gold with a score of 14.8 on the floor exercise final Tuesday at Macdonald Island Park.

It was a family affair on the sand for Team BC as the beach volleyball finals played out on the sand today at Snye Park. Siblings Quinci and Liam Birker (Kelowna) and Darby and Devon Dunn (South Surrey) together with their parents travel as a pack.
