Surrey’s Garceau wins gold, Toth takes the bronze in squash finals
Team BC posted two significant upsets in squash at the 2015 Canada Winter Games on Wednesday as Michele Garceau won gold in the women’s individual and Burnaby’s Matthew Toth won bronze on the men’s side.
The medals are the first ever for B.C. in an individual squash event at the Canada Winter Games.

A split day results in a 4-1 record for Team BC in curling
Team BC has a tiring day with a win against Team PEI and a close game resulting in a loss against Team Ontario. Despite the loss, they have secured themselves a spot in the quarterfinals.
14 medals in one day for Team BC
It was a medal haul for Team BC on Wednesday at the 2015 Canada Winter Games with Team BC bringing home 14 medals. Impressive results today have Team BC with 63 medals overall, placing the team third in the medal standings behind Quebec and Ontario.
