Team BC girls wow in singles table tennis.  The team looks forward to both girls’ and boys’ doubles finals.

Team BC is fast on the trails at Otway

Team BC races hard for silver in the women’s standing 5km cross country race and bronze in the women’s para Nordic sit-ski 5km.  Relay races still to come.

Team BC finishes second in curling pool play

In curling today, Team BC capitalized on the final play against Team Saskatchewan to finish second in their pool.  Quarterfinals are tomorrow at noon.

Garceau and Toth medal in squash individual competitions

Team BC’s Michele Garceau wins gold and Matthew Toth the bronze in the squash individual competitions.  Team play continues.

Team BC judo brings home two silvers and a bronze in first day of competition

Team BC has a successful first day as Leo Goldberg, Lavanna Laass and Ario Nisimura bring home some hardware in judo.  The team will try for more medals this evening.

Surrey’s Garceau wins gold, Toth takes the bronze in squash finals

Team BC posted two significant upsets in squash at the 2015 Canada Winter Games on Wednesday as Michele Garceau won gold in the women’s individual and Burnaby’s Matthew Toth won bronze on the men’s side.  

The medals are the first ever for B.C. in an individual squash event at the Canada Winter Games.

Two bronze medals from badminton add to overall Team BC count

Team BC brings home two bronze in badminton from James Ho in the singles and Joshua Liu and Duncan Yao in a tight doubles final.

Team BC captures bronze in the mixed team trampoline competition

Despite mixed feelings after the male singles event, Team BC pulls together to win bronze in the mixed team trampoline competition.

A split day results in a 4-1 record for Team BC in curling

Team BC has a tiring day with a win against Team PEI and a close game resulting in a loss against Team Ontario.  Despite the loss, they have secured themselves a spot in the quarterfinals.
