Team BC leads medal count after phase one of Western Canada Summer Games
Team BC came to the 2015 Western Canada Summer Games as the province to beat and the phase one athletes did not disappoint. Team BC leads the medal count with 169 including 77 gold, 51 silver, and 41 bronze.

It was a golden day for Salt Spring Island gymnast Darby McIntyre as she tumbled her way to gold with a score of 14.8 on the floor exercise final Tuesday at Macdonald Island Park.
