Team BC athletes keep calm and ippon to bring home more medals

Team BC brought home another 12 medals on Thursday at the 2015 Canada Winter Games. Podium finishes took place in figure skating, cross country skiing and in judo with one gold, three silver and eight bronze medals awarded.
Team BC girls wow in singles table tennis. The team looks forward to both girls’ and boys’ doubles finals.

In curling today, Team BC capitalized on the final play against Team Saskatchewan to finish second in their pool. Quarterfinals are tomorrow at noon.

Team BC posted two significant upsets in squash at the 2015 Canada Winter Games on Wednesday as Michele Garceau won gold in the women’s individual and Burnaby’s Matthew Toth won bronze on the men’s side.
