Keep an eye on the swimming results tonight as Team BC continues to add to its medal count in St. John’s.

Men’s baseball gets back to winning ways with victory over Saskatchewan

Dylan De Meyer pitched a two-hit complete game shutout to lead Team BC to a 2-0 victory over Saskatchewan–all the more impressive when you consider he didn’t come to the games as a pitcher.

Men’s rugby stays undefeated with win over Nova Scotia

Team BC men’s rugby kept the ball rolling on Tuesday, kicking of the day with a 28-7 against Nova Scotia (view the box score).

Bethune hits home run as softball women beat Alberta

Chloe Bethune hit a home run and Team BC women’s softball (4-0) beat Alberta 7-0 to finish the round robin undefeated.

Perfect round robin comes to a close for women’s rugby sevens with victory over Nova Scotia (10:45 a.m. NDT)

Women’s rugby sevens closed out their preliminary round on top of their division, beating Nova Scotia 29-10 to remain undefeated at 3-0. Next up is the knockout round, which starts later today.

Men’s soccer opens Canada Games with a big win over Saskatchewan

Soccer started with a bang for Team BC as they took down Saskatchewan 3-0 in front of a raucous crowd of supporters. The team is back in action tomorrow, facing off against Ontario at 4:30 p.m. NDT.

Men’s basketball falls in debut against Alberta

Team BC’s relay team of Colton Gonzales, Yiguo Song, Emilie Golinowski, and Kelly Choi took home gold to bring B.C.’s total to 7 gold and 10 total medals.

Siytangco wins first Special Olympics medal for Team BC, winning gold in 50m Breastroke

Ramon Siytangco struck gold in Special O 50m Breaststroke, giving Team BC a total six gold medals and nine total on Monday night alone.

Maelle Sanborn delivers record-breaking performance to land gold (7:42 p.m. NDT)

Maëlle Sanborn helped Team BC add to its strong night in the pool, setting a Canada Games record on her way to the top of the podium in Women’s 50m Breaststroke.

Sailing gets underway as Team BC starts strong (7:30 p.m. NDT)

Men’s baseball drops first game with loss to Alberta (6:30 p.m. NDT)

Alberta (1-1) handed Team BC (2-1) their first loss of the Canada Games, coming away with a 4-2 victory.  Next up for B.C. is a meeting with Saskatchewan on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. NDT.

Men’s rugby sevens beats PEI to stay undefeated on Monday

Team BC men’s rugby sevens moved to 3-0 at the Canada Games, handing PEI (1-2) a 40-10 loss to close out the day. A match against Nova Scotia awaits British Columbia at 12:34 p.m. NDT.

Women’s box lacrosse registers third straight win (6:22 p.m. NDT)

Team BC’s hot start in women’s box lacrosse continued on Monday as the team picked up their third win, beating Quebec 10-2. B.C. will be back on the field on Tuesday for at 5:00 p.m. NDT.

Gold rush continues for swimming in Individual Medley as Chew reaches top of the podium (6:25 p.m. (NDT)

Liam Chew won his first medal of the Canada Games with a gold in the 400m Individual Medley.

Mynott clinches gold for her third medal of the games (6:20 p.m. NDT)

Naomi Mynott added a gold medal to her collection that already featured silver and bronze, dominating on her way to the top of the podium in the 400m Individual Medley.

Women’s rugby beats New Brunswick to close out perfect day (3:40 p.m. NDT)

Team BC (3-0) conceded its first points of the Canada Games but came away with the win nonetheless, beating New Brunswick 24-7 in their final game of the day.

Men’s rugby sevens keeps on rolling with win over Newfoundland and Labrador (2:45 p.m. NDT)

Team BC (2-0) defeated hosts Newfoundland and Labrador (1-1) 39-0 to keep the good times going in St. John’s. They will be back in action at 6:04 p.m. NST against Prince Edward Island (1-0), who beat the Yukon 45-0 in their first match.

Women’s basketball falls to Ontario in second game (2:45 p.m. NDT)

Team BC women’s basketball (0-2) fell to Ontario on Monday by a score of 71-49. The team will be back on the court against Quebec on Wednesday.

Veronica So wins Canoe Kayak’s first medal of the games (2:05 p.m. NDT)

Team BC is on the board in Canoe Kayak as Veronica So raced to silver in the Women’s C1 1000m. So’s performance was one among a number of strong efforts from B.C. on Monday, with multiple of her teammates barely missing the podium.

Beach volleyball women take down Nova Scotia (1:20 p.m. NDT)

Izzy Musholt-Ko and Nyla Tukker opened up the Canada Games with a straight-sets (21-16, 21-15) victory over Nova Scotia (view full box score).

Women’s rugby sevens kicked off the Canada Games in style early on Monday morning (8 a.m. NST), beating hosts Newfoundland and Labrador 41-0 in their opener (view box score).

The women’s team is back in action at 11:40 a.m. NST (7:10 a.m. PST) against Alberta while the men’s team gets started at 10:34 (6:04 a.m. PST) against Quebec.

Team BC women’s lacrosse is off to a hot start after delivering their second win of the day on Sunday, knocking off Alberta 5-3 at the Paradise Double Ice Complex in St. John’s (view box score).

Stroud sets record to earn Team BC’s first gold medal of the Canada Summer Games

Ken Stroud set a Canada Games record to take home Team BC’s first gold medal of the games in the 200m (S1-5,S14) / 400m(S6-13) Freestyle Para Men’s event, finishing 18 more points (825) than the silver medalist Gavin Baggs (807).

Rugby’s Josh McIndoe named Team BC flag bearer for Opening Ceremonies (1 p.m. PST)

Men’s rugby player Joshua McIndoe will carry the flag for Team BC at Opening Ceremonies of the St. John’s 2025 Canada Summer Games on Saturday.

“It’s an absolute honour,” said McIndoe. “To not only represent my province on the rugby stage, but also to be recognized as our flag bearer is an absolute honour.”
