After years of preparation, we're incredibly excited that the 2015 Canada Winter
Games are here! It is a unique opportunity to host the Canada Winter Games
in BC for the first time, and to serve as host province.
Team BC has made every effort to maximize home field advantage for our athletes, through pre-Games camps and test events at the venues, to facilitating Family & Friends attendance at the Games to cheer on their athlete in person. We're committed to ensuring all 348 Team BC members have the Games of a lifetime, both in achieving optimal on-field performance and soaking in an unforgettable Games experience
To our athletes, coaches, and managers - congratulations once again on being selected to Team BC. Our entire volunteer mission team is tremendously excited to welcome you to the Games. You represent BC's best and you are incredible role models for your sport, hometown, and province. We know you will each excel on the field of play while acting as tremendous ambassadors for Team BC. Enjoy and embrace the Games experience.
To our Team BC partners, families, and supporters - it is a collective effort of so many to get Team BC prepared ready to compete at these Games. It is with your support that this experience is possible and we hope that you are able to be part of the excitement either at the Games or from home.
To the community of Prince George - thank you for welcoming us and the nation to your beautiful part of the province. We know the countless hours of work that have gone into planning for our arrival and we are incredibly grateful to have this experience in your community. Thank you also to the thousands of volunteers who will contribute to making these Games a wonderful event.
We live for this…we are ready! Let the Games begin!
