Team BC earned its first medals of the 2017 Canada Summer Games with a gold and two silver medals at triathlon, a silver medal at diving and a gold and a bronze in para discus.

The Team BC women’s basketball squad had a successful evening at the Duckworth Centre in Winnipeg with a confident 76-49 win over Team Newfoundland.
