Today was the first day at the Canada Winter Games for the Team BC figure skaters.

Practice took place for the16 athletes, including four Special Olympic athletes, at the Gary W. Harris building and Collicut Centre.

In the afternoon the team attended the Team BC pep rally, which is the first event meant to build sportsmanship and energy going into the first day of competition.

All disciplines at the Pre-Novice level begins on Monday in the afternoon along with Special Olympics men’s level 2.
