BC wins bronze in men's volleyball
Team BC won the bronze medal match against Team Quebec Saturday afternoon at the Investor's Group Athletic Centre in Winnipeg.

Team Quebec defeated Team BC earlier in pool play at the 2017 Canada Summer Games (20-25, 27-29, 25-21, 25-21, 12-15).  So on Saturday, BC was looking to reverse the result.

Team BC started out strong winning the first set 25-17.

In the second set, it was a see-saw affair and was tied 22-22, before Team BC pulled ahead and won 25-23.

The third set tied at 15-15 and 20-20. Team Quebec won 25-21.

In another close set, the fourth was tied at 12-12, 18-18 and 24-24. Team Quebec won 26-24, forcing a fifth tie-breaking set.

The fifth set tied 11-11 with some mammoth momentum swings. Quebec was up 14-12, but BC tied it at 14-14, before winning the set 17-15 and claiming the bronze medal.
