Gold medal for Triathlon in mixed relay
On the last day of the triathlon competition Team BC continued their dominance and won their sixth medal of the Canada Summer Games.   Hannah Henry (Victoria), Brock Hoel (West Kelowna), Desirae Ridenour (Cowichan Bay), and Michael Milic (Delta) combined in the mixed relay for the gold medal.   It was a competitive race and Team BC were neck and neck with Team Quebec on the second lap but, then managed to increase the lead and never looked back.

Throughout the Canada Games, the triathletes earned four golds and two silvers for Team BC. Desirae Ridenour goes home a triple gold medalist wining the individual, womens' relay and mixed relay events.
