Canoe Kayak BC announces team for St. John’s 2025 Canada Summer Games
Canoe Kayak BC announced the athletes selected to represent Team BC in Sprint Canoe Kayak at the upcoming 2025 Canada Summer Games in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.
Selections were based on performances demonstrated at the Canada Summer Games Trials, held May 24-25, 2025, as well as each athlete’s commitment and intent to represent British Columbia at the national level.
Men’s Kayak:
Harris Hunter, Douglas Hunter, Damian Hickey, Evan Cummings, Peter Thompson-Whike
Alternate: Marko Radovic
Women’s Kayak:
Kahlen Tsze, Senika Velisek, Elena Pelekh, Paige Johns
Alternate: Eva Jancker
Men’s Canoe:
Jeffrey Sun, Alex Smith, Corben Hickey, Nate Neuls
