Team BC busy at practice on day 2

Another day of wrestling practice was underway today at MacDonald Island Park.  These athletes can sure move!  The Team BC Wrestling team is lead by head coach Kate Walker who is one of the only female NCCP Level 3 wrestling coaches in BC.  In a predominantly male sport, Kate shines and continues to keep her family legacy alive.  Kate’s grandfather, Art Miller, founded the BC official association for wrestling, and her uncle, Jim Miller attended the 1976 Olympics. Way to go Kate!

The Wrestling competition gets underway tomorrow at 9:00.
