Team BC and BC Games Alumni Bring Home Medals from Beijing 2022 Olympics
Two thrilling weeks of competition in Beijing amassed to 26 medals for Canada, the country’s second-best ever showing at a Winter Olympics. The success of this campaign serves as a testament to the dedication, mental fortitude, and hard work put in by athletes in the years leading up to the Games. Five of Canada’s 26 medals were won by athletes who hail from BC and garnered multi-sport games experience during their development in the form of the BC Games or with Team BC at the Canada Games.
